With
the new 24-inch iMac, Apple combines the
home theater experience with
professional-level digital production
capabilities; it comes loaded with powerful
video, audio and imaging software and its
wide screen 24" LCD monitor makes it perfect
for use as the central hub of a digital
lifestyle. So sit back, pass the popcorn and
enjoy the show - or sit down and create it
on the 24-inch iMac.

Designed to
appeal to both entry level users and
seasoned professionals, the 24" iMac
combines high-speed performance with the
familiar all-in-one design. The real news is
under the hood; the new 64-bit Intel Core 2
Duo 2.16GHz (or optional 2.33GHz) processor
and increased L2 cache deliver up to 50%
more performance than previous iMacs. Also,
the new 24-inch cinematic display isn't just
bigger — it's a full 40% brighter.
What does this mean to you? It is now easier
than ever to work with digital photos,
movies, music, and the web. Working with
high-resolution digital cameras and HDV
video cameras requires more computer
processing power — the new iMac provides it
in spades. When your work is done you can
enjoy the results on the 24-inch widescreen
display and easily share it with the world
on DVD or CD using the built-in SuperDrive.
The iMac comes with Front Row; a very
user-friendly program for playing music,
controlling slideshows or watching video.
With the included infrared Apple Remote,
home audiophiles and videophiles can easily
navigate through the wide array of menu
choices without ever leaving their comfy
chair. Throw in an optional wireless
keyboard and mouse and you can almost
guarantee the lawn will never be mowed
again!

favorite music, create a website — all done
simply and beautifully with the
user-friendly interface. The iLife '06 suite
of applications, consisting of iTunes,
iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, GarageBand and iWeb,
brings the power of producing a full
multimedia production right to the desktop.
Connectivity has also been expanded with
high-performance options such as built-in
10/100/1000 BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet for
high-speed networking, built-in AirPort
Extreme, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, a total of five

web cam.

or accounting at home, are a student looking
for a full resource tool for your dorm room,
or an audio/video producer creating your
next work of art, the new iMac is an
essential component for anyone, no matter
how you slice this Apple.
