On2 VP6™ based live streaming for Adobe® Flash® Player 8 and 9 offered with Inlet’s advanced encoding solutions

(AMEX:ONT), a leader in video-compression software and solutions, and Inlet Technologies, the leader in advanced encoding solutions for new media, announced today that Inlet has licensed On2’s live Flash video encoding technologies for integration with Inlet’s advanced encoding solutions.
As a result of this agreement, programmers, broadcasters and new media distribution companies using Inlet’s Fathom® advanced encoding platform will be able to support Adobe® Flash® Player 8 and 9 using On2 VP6™ based video capabilities. The integrated solution will offer customers enhanced capabilities to program, schedule, and manage live Flash video broadcasts.
