video encoding optimization
technologies, introduces the newest
member of
its Express product line, delivering
live 2-pass VBR SD and HD H.264 and VP6

Server 3.
With the recent announcement of H.264
support in the AdobeR FlashR player,
Kulabyte customers now have a choice
between H.264 and VP6 when encoding for
FlashR Player compatible video. Since
Kulabyte implements MainConcept's
H.264 encoder, Express Series customers
will realize optimized performance
and quality from their H.264 streams for
Adobe Flash Player compatible
video.
Kulabyte has also joined the Adobe Flash
Media Solutions Partner program.
The partnership program establishes a
framework between both companies with
Kulabyte being one of Adobe's encoding
partners as it relates to rich media
content creation and distribution.
"We're excited to be a member of the
Adobe Flash Media Solutions Partner
program. Now that Flash Media Server 3
and Adobe Flash Player 9 support both
HD and H.264 in addition to On2 VP6; our

"Over the past several years, we have
worked hard to create a large
ecosystem of MainConcept-based encoding
and decoding solutions in the
