Incorporated released an update of
Adobe® Media Player, the
customizable, cross-platform media
player software that can provide
high-quality playback of streamed,
downloaded, or locally stored video
in the FLV format.
The latest
release of Adobe Media Player
includes significant user interface
and navigation enhancements,
improved performance, and new
functionality. With the newly
updated Adobe Media Player, Adobe is
offering viewers an innovative,
engaging user experience. The new
version delivers a clean, more
intuitive user interface, a new home
screen, and improved navigation.
Additional enhancements include
notifications that update users
about new content and the ability to
download content in the background
while working on other tasks, making
Adobe Media Player more
user-friendly than ever.
In addition,
top publishers have added content to
the Adobe Media Player catalog. Sony
Pictures Entertainment and Crackle,
a Sony Pictures Entertainment
company, are contributing to the
catalog for the first time. CBS and
Showtime Networks, a CBS company,
are adding new clips to their
existing repertoire of content.

Player Offerings: Top broadcasters
and content publishers are
continuing to add new content to the
catalog in Adobe Media Player. Since
its release, the Adobe Media Player
features 25,000 pieces of content
with more than 600 shows. Sony
Pictures Entertainment Company is
among the most recent companies
scheduling new content for inclusion
in the Adobe Media Player, including
the classic feature films Men in
Black, Ghostbusters, Underworld
Evolution, The Fifth Element,
and Jerry Maguire. Also
scheduled for launch is The Minisode
Network, with four to six-minute
versions of popular series
including: Fat Albert, He-Man,
She-Ra, Square Pegs, Married… With
Children, Bewitched, Starsky &
Hutch, Spiderman, The Karate Kid,
The Three Stooges, I Dream of
Jeannie, Voltron, Silver Spoons,
Who’s The Boss?, Dilbert, Facts of
Life, The Young and the Restless,
Charlie’s Angels,, Sheena, What’s
Happening!!, Dif’rent Strokes,
and Fantasy Island.

Adobe Media Player catalog. The
Crackle Network is delivering online
original programming, including:
The Rascal, That Guy, Owen Benjamin
Presents, Comedy Gumbo, Mr. Justice
& Powerful Girl, Mr Diety, Sands of
Passion, and The Cell via
Adobe Media Player.

as well as clips from the Late
Show with David Letterman.
Showtime Networks is offering clips
of some of its most popular shows,
including The Tudors.
Adobe Media
