Movavi adds new color tune-ups to make your video super-stylish
Movavi Video Editor, updated to version 9.5, now offers more special effects and transitions to enhance the quality of your video and create stunning vintage and disco style clips.
– Movavi, a leading multimedia software developer, is pleased to announce the latest update to Movavi Video Editor. Version 9.5 offers a number of new built-in effects, as well as the ability to add extra special effects that offer great creative opportunities to home video makers. The stylish new effects, designed by IntrinsicFX, are available in nine packages: Abstract, Artifacts, Cinematic, Color Mix, Disco, Film Reel, Flow, Sine, and TV and can be purchased either individually for $39.95 per pack (except for Cinematic that costs $59.95) or all together for $149.95, saving $229.60. Each effect is customizable so its intensity can be customized for each individual video. Thanks to Movavi Video Editor’s simplicity, even a beginning videographer can easily add special effects, customize them, preview the results, and compare different options with the original video.
Previews of all the video effects, together with a description of each package and pricing, are available on the Movavi website at http://www.movavi.com/videoeditor/extra-effects.html For example, the Disco effects recall the 1970s and 1980s with rainbow-like music clips. By strengthening the basic colors, users can apply blue, pink, and other color ‘filters’ to the video. The Color Mix pack can also add a vintage note to video footage. Users can experiment with their footage by changing the video settings to make it look like as if it’s been shot with an old film camera, adding a green, purple, yellow, or blue patina or intensifying all the colors as if the entire video were an Instagram photo.
“The image settings can really change how a video looks and feels. Now even a so-so photo can be easily turned into a perfect shot to share with your friends using one of these stylish filters. Just imagine how this could change any of your video footage!” says Ksenia Horoshilova, Movavi content specialist.
In addition to these add-on effects packs, the update contains a free Mask effect to highlight or conceal any part of the video frame that does not add anything to the overall effect. To focus the viewer’s attention on a particular person or other detail in the shot, users can select the Mask - Highlight or Mask – Soft Focus effect and specify the target area on the screen to darken or blur the rest of the frame. The Mask – Conceal effect, by contrast, is used to hide unwanted elements, making them blurry or shaded.
