new interactive music video for Bob Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone

Bob Dylan released a new interactive video for Like a Rolling Stone. Built using Interlude's interactive video technology, this new video is a first for the song, which has never before had a music video made for it. The interactive video lets users ³channel surf² 16 popular TV programs featuring well known TV personalities, such as ³The Price is Right² host Drew Carey and ³Property Brothers,² Jonathan and Drew Scott, who are lip synching to the classic song. The seamless, interactive nature of the video means no two people will engage with the video in the same way.

Be motivated to live your life to the fullest

Watch this video from KarmaTube. It might change your life. Or at least the next few minutes. It Is Now That My Life Is Mine In 2008, going through a dark patch, Hailey Bartholomew found comfort in a simple practice. Every day she took a photo of something she was grateful for. The practice yielded transformative results and led to the creation of 365grateful.com. Thousands would be inspired by it -- among them a young mother named Amy Gill. Thanks to Hailey's story, Amy would turn to gratefulness at a time of heartbreak in her own life. This film captures her beautiful spirit and story.

Video is going to overwhelm the internet

Ok, it is no big surprise. But the Cisco numbers never fail to impress. Video will grow from 73 percent to 82 percent of all internet traffic. Top-level indicators include the projected increase in Internet users—from 3.3 to 4.6 billion or 58 percent of the global population[1], greater adoption of personal devices and machine-to-machine (M2M) connections—from 17.1 billion to 27.1 billion from 2016- 2021, average broadband speed advances—from 27.5 Mbps to 53.0 Mbps, Over the forecast period, global IP traffic is expected to increase three-fold reaching an annual run rate of 3.3 zettabytes by 2021, up from an annual run rate of 1.2 zettabytes in 2016.

How to enjoy streaming content online

Yes Google is getting back to the point where they can make a ton of money selling ad space on YouTube (along with your online activity data) but they have ambitions like everyone else. It's their own streaming video/movie/content channel. Ok it's not Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky or Rogers but it's only $35 a month (whooppee!). My issue is that there is too much really insanely great indie filmmaker work out there to bother with the YouTube stuff. At NAB everyone will be hustling their solutions and hoping to gawd everyone doesn't get on the iNet or airwaves at the same time. Fortunately industry executives will get right on that little problem next month and by the time we're all needing a video fix it will be there...they hope.
