November is here - we survived the onslaught of thousands of over-sugared children racing around on Halloween with their masks, costumes and assorted pranks. Did you shot and edit some good video?

This has been a great month so far for features and news announcements. Ok, so they missed Halloween by a few weeks - But the Horror Channel (THC) today announced that it will host an online streaming video (Night of the Living Dead) and simultaneous live web chat at www.horrorchannel.com beginning at midnight Eastern Time on Friday, November 11th (9:00 pm Pacific Time).  Fans logging on to the web channel at www.horrorchannel.com will be treated to the feature film, Night of the Living Dead. And, at any time during the film, fans may participate in a live chat with actress Kyra Schon, who appeared in the film 37 years ago as little Karen Cooper. more

Thanksgiving is coming and all the turkeys are running for the hills. Check out this funny animated "Turkey: I Will Survive" greeting card from MSN Greetings. You can add your name and message and send it to your friends and relatives. Looks a bit like Margie Simpson in a turkey suit. There's a bunch of other cute and funny Thanksgiving related flash animations on the site as well.

 

 
 
 

 

If you really want to be frightened and get a bit spooked, watch "The Killin'" by Kevin Powis hosted at the LastIndependent.com. Drawing upon a cornucopia of fright film clich?, this 10 minute flick manages to weave them together to create a scary film that will have you on the edge of your desktop. Warning - This might scare kids.

 
 
The story of Dale and Steve is a very funny (in a dry semi-documentary way) history of kid investigators and what happens when they re-unite after many years. Good writing, good acting - so-so production but I think you'll like it. This was a winner at FilmFights.  - check out Filmfight Number 60 - The Best of Halloween -
