This has been a very interesting summer ? YouTube took off and
finally revealed how they plan on making money. There?s been a lot
of consolidation as several of the big boys acquired many of the
next tier of net video technology firms and businesses. For many of
us, August doldrums are ending and it will be back to busy, busy,
busy.
BTW - our visitor numbers have recently jumped. In addition, we now

Online Video Growth Will Be Driven by Portable Devices and
Download-to-Burn - While 2006 has seen a rapid increase in
consumers' use of online video, spurred by the breakout success of
websites such as YouTube, the vast majority of video content
delivered over the Internet is still held captive on the PC. ABI
Research believes that the over the next five years new viewing
options such as network-enabled video players and download-to-burn
will add momentum and broaden the overall market by giving consumers

of drinks and food, home and beauty tips. Even though many of the
videos are bit humorous and tongue in cheek, the content is
excellent. Even better, they are looking for contributions from
filmmakers who are experts in something... One of our favorites is

How To Roll a Cigarette video.
FoodNetwork.com is now serving up helpings of original broadband.
Hosted by critically acclaimed twenty-something celebrity chef and
author Dave Lieberman, "Dave Does" chronicles all the latest
culinary trends with stops in New York City, Boston, Portland and
Philadelphia. The first three short webisodes will spotlight
donuts, school food and coffee.
