ABC cuts
deal with AOL to stream primetime TV programming the day after it
airs on the network.
According to AOL, "With our new partnership with ABC, AOL Video is
now the only online video portal to have deals in place with all
four of the major television networks. As you know, earlier this
year we announced deals with NBC/News Corp. (Hulu) and CBS. Content
from CBS is live now on AOL Video. Content from Hulu is expected to
go live later this fall."
The
agreement also marks the first time ABC's primetime programming
has been made available on a third-party video portal. Full
episodes of ABC programs are available today for free at
http://video.aol.com and starting
next week, ABC's new fall line up of programming will also be
available."
