April 2007 Internet Video Magazine Newsletter
Its April and we all know what that means.
There is only one thing more important than baseball season, spring
break, the end of winter, et al, and that has got to be the mother
of all media conventions – NAB. The National Association of
Broadcasters show. Four days of broadcast, video and film toys,
tools and news.
Yep, the annual trek to Vegas starts next week
and we are flooded with invites and announcements. (Why does
everyone wait to release their news the same day – don’t they know
it makes more sense to send out the news and press releases when
editors are not quite so overwhelmed?)
Anyhow, we are going to be at NAB. Are you? If
you will be in Vegas the whole week, you might also want to check
this cool event – associated with NAB. The 2nd Annual
MoTV or MobileTV and Video Summit on April 17 is all about the next
revolution in mobile media – the migration of near-TV quality video
to cell phones. If you got time, check it out.
