TriggerStreet 3 Online Short
Film Festival
The 10
finalists in the
1st TriggerStreet.com On-Line Short Film Festival of the Third
Season have been chosen, and Trigger Academy voting is underway.
The Short Film Festival Season works as follows: Each Season is made
up of three separate Film Festivals -- the ratings given by
Intermediate and Advanced Members to the 50 Official Selection films
during each festival will determine the Top Ten Finalists. Those ten
films will then go before the Trigger Academy to determine which
four are nominated to continue on to the end of season competition.
The Nominees from each festival will be viewed by our panel of
Judges, who will pick the Overall Winner of the Season and the
recipient of the Budweiser Filmmaker Discovery Award.

CAMCORDER DEAL - The Sony HVR-A1U is an entry level HDV camcorder
that records high definition video as well as DVCAM and DV video.
When it is selected to record in HDV it can record 60i, 30p or 24
frames per second. Its widescreen chip captures over 1000 horizontal
lines and 1440 vertical lines no matter what you dial in for record
format. Sony has engineered the camera around a Carl Zeiss
Vario-Sonnar T* lens for the latest in anti-reflective coatings and
new levels of HDTV-quality resolving power in a compact design. This
camera's a 10x zoom lens has a maximum wide angle of 5.1 mm which
will show a 50° horizontal angle of view. The camera uses a single
three million pixel CMOS chip to capture images. The use of a CMOS
(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) chip allows the camera to
capture amazing high quality images while consuming less battery
power and making the camera smaller overall. The Enhanced Imaging
Processor (EIP), a Sony created technology, enables the camcorder to
capture and process high-definition video and high resolution still
images with the highest levels of contrast and detail. The HVR-A1U
has balanced XLR audio inputs with phantom power and attenuation
options.

Great Internet Videos you ought to watch....
This is brilliant!
Every 30 Seconds....Directed by Jeremy Corray. By the time you
finish reading this film synopsis, a drunk driver will cause a
traffic accident. Every 30 seconds in America, a man is hit by a
drunk driver. However, this little factoid isn't as terrifying as it
might sound, since drunk drivers apparently hit the same guy
every 30 seconds. This is that man's story. Don't miss the Hitchcock
homage...
Have you ever
broken up with someone on video? Check out
Sandra Gets Dumped by Tracy D. Smith. Simple yet
effective cinematography combined with excellent writing and acting.
BRILLIANT.
This is Sandra's video response to the man who crushed her dreams of
domestic bliss.
So what do you do in
the biz? Are you a cutter, a director, a best boy, a grip? Check out
this hilarious short mockumentary "
Who Makes Movies" about the little known but integral member of
the production team for adult oriented films, the fluffer. This is
great. Its a bit mature oriented so don't share it with elementary
school film maker wannabees.... You got to hand it to them....
The Mouth Revolution
is a hilarious and very well made live-action film that parodies
history and contemporary culture while informing viewers about the
vital importance of eating real, organic foods. Narrated by
revolutionary mouths who take it upon themselves to decide what they
will and will not eat, personalities like “Sojourner Tooth” and
“Captain Mouth” unveil their "Mouthifesto" -- a Declaration of
Indigestion that details their objectives and demands: No Trans
Fats, No GMOs, No Pesticides, and No Artificial Ingredients.
